OpenASMR is being prepared for iPhone: personalized, ASMR using a voice you have permission to use. Voice processing happens on your device; online scripts are generated by our service.
The App Store listing is not yet public. Commercial model rights have not been established: the current upstream model card lists non-commercial weights, unlike its Apache-licensed code. The license applicable to the acquired checkpoint still needs verification. Required model delivery is also unavailable, so first-time setup is blocked. Device performance and release readiness are still being validated; no launch date is promised.

Listen at your pace
On-device synthesis turns the script into audio. Playback is designed for headphones, with background audio and a sleep timer. Real-device validation is required before release.
02 — Voices and consent
Your voice is personal.
Treat every voice that way.
Reference recordings, voice conditioning data and generated audio are processed locally rather than uploaded to our script API. Online requests, account information and purchases are separate: this is not a “no data collected” service.
Use only your own voice or a voice you have explicit permission and legal rights to use. Do not impersonate someone, clone public figures without permission or represent synthetic speech as a real recording. The app is for personal relaxation, not medical care.

05 — Questions
Which iPhones will be supported?
The current target is an iPhone with at least 8 GB RAM and iOS 17 or later, starting with iPhone 15 Pro. Not every newer iPhone meets that memory requirement. The final supported-device list depends on physical-device testing.
Does it work offline?
Voice processing requires downloaded models. Offline script generation additionally requires the optional local model and an eligible subscription. Initial setup, accounts and purchases need internet. Offline performance and reliability remain release gates.
Does it include explicit content?
The restored product includes intimate/mature scenarios for verified adult Max accounts that explicitly opt in on the website. They are off by default. Submission remains on hold for substantive content-policy, safety and model-rights resolution; the website setting is not an App Store exemption or review-time workaround.
Will it help me sleep?
ASMR preferences vary. OpenASMR is intended for relaxation and entertainment, not to diagnose or treat a health condition. We do not guarantee sleep or other health outcomes.
